There is some interesting information in there about a guy named Bart Irvine who claims he has been attempting to blackmail MLB and independent minor league teams into firing and/or not hiring Wally Backman.

In short, everything you've ever heard about Wally Backman being fired for a DUI and a 13 year old domestic dispute isn't entirely accurate. Bart Irvine has been threating teams since 2003 or 2004 because the dude's wife cheated on him.

Bart has threatened me in the past too - telling me that he would go after my sponsors and my reputation. I've gone back and forth about whether I should reveal this info - but in the end, Bart Irvine came after me and he came after the Keith Michlig (GM of the South Georgia Peanuts) and God knows who else. It ends here.

For the record, Wally Backman had no knowledge of Bart Irvine's alleged involvement in the Arizona Diamondbacks situation.
